Asana Hosseini Dolatabad is a Ph.D. student in the Operations Research program, collaborating with the Poole College of Management. Pursuing a Ph.D. allows Hosseini Dolatabad to deepen her understanding of complex operational challenges and develop analytical models that can drive more efficient and sustainable business practices. Her goal is to contribute both to academia and industry by providing insights that enhance supply chain resilience and optimization.
Hosseini Dolatabad has a bachelor’s in industrial engineering and master’s degree in industrial management. With experience in both engineering and business, she is now leveraging her knowledge from both fields in her Ph.D., combining technical and managerial perspectives to contribute to both the engineering and business departments.

Asana Hosseini Dolatabad’s research focuses on supply chain and operations management, where she explores strategic decision-making in supply chains, particularly in areas such as inventory management, sustainability and retailer behavior.
