Jack Heller

Jack Heller is an active duty officer in the United States Air Force. He is currently billeted as an operations analyst (15A) and is attending NC State as part of the Air Force Institute of Technology’s Civilian Institution (AFIT CI) program. After graduation, He will continue to work as an analyst for the USAF and hopes to return to his Alma Mater as an instructor in the future. He also volunteers as a youth volleyball coach at Triangle Volleyball Club in Morrisville, NC.
Research Interests
Heller’s thesis aims to apply operations research concepts to military logistics and disaster relief efforts. The work, preliminarily titled Creating Generator Refueling Schedules with Vehicle Routing during Power Outage, will allow the U.S. Air Force to ensure critical infrastructure remains operational during natural disasters or cyber attacks targeting power grids.
